Sam Vilhauer: Owner
Sam has a long family history in the construction business. He started in floor covering where his father still operates Drywall Contractors, Inc. a floor covering retail and installation operation. Sam then moved into home building in the 80's and has been building custom homes since. Sam has vast knowledge in construction as well as a true passion for customer service and quality assurance.

Joni Vilhauer: Owner
Joni initially managed the accounting side of the S. Vilhauer Company in its early years before turning her focus towards her true skills as an interior designer. She possesses a gift for making a house a home and has designed the interiors and exteriors of all of the speculative homes we have built. Joni has also been involved from the grass roots of many of our custom home projects and brings one more level of service to the custom home building experience.

Ian McFatridge: Owner
Ian graduated from Washington State University in 1991 with a Business Administration degree. He worked with Red Lion Hotels until the summer of 1997, when he joined the S. Vilhauer Company. Ian worked with The Vilhauers as a finance and systems consultant. Ian's skill set resides in customer service, finance and system design and administration. Ian took a one third ownership position in the company in January of 2000 and manages the finances, documentation, technology and communication systems as well estimating and job specification.

Travis Klein: Project Manager
Travis has thirteen years of experience as a general contractor in California where he built spec homes and performed the framing. He moved to Washington in 1991 where he framed houses and worked as a framing contractor for The S. Vilhauer Company. In 1996 Travis joined the team as Project Manager. He manages the schedule and client communication on each project. He has extensive construction knowledge which is used to ensure quality construction and manage the sub contractor base. Travis also is skilled in plan design and acts as our on site plan design consultant.

Jennifer Rugg: Office Manager
Jennifer joined The S. Vilhauer Company in September of 1998 as Office Manager. Jennifer graduated from Utah State University with a degree in Business Administration and has 26 years of accounting experience, 15 of which is in the construction industry. Jennifer came to us from a local development company and has vast operational and organizational skills. She manages all of the company's day to day business operations as well as the accounting and financial reporting duties.
